1- I didn’t done any change just added the social icon widget inside the header.
2- Dummy Data
I’m not getting which & how the starter site(demo) you’ve imported to your site but if you’ve followed the right steps then all starter sites(demos) have pre-made dummy data which will import to your site when you click on the import button.

Please share website URL, wp-admin, and FTP info (login/ passwords) and send using “private reply”.
Also, share the product License key that you got from Envato for registration of the theme.
