You can change the permalink settings from
WP-Admin Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks > Change permalink settings > Save changes > Done.

You can change the blog post template layout from
WP-admin > Appearance > Customize > Blog > Single Post.
From here you can change the layout, header, post-share, etc. options.

P.S: By default, you can’t change the image height as well as don’t change the post title position.

Before updating the theme make sure you’ve got the latest version of all the required plugins. If the problem remains persists then please share wp-admin info and FTP info. I’ll check the issue and try to help you out.
