I am Sorry to say, Latest LayerSlider WP is not available.
Actually, We have a Extended licesend with CodeCanyon for LayerSlider WP, but LayerSlider WP had stopped Updating the Plug-in to Envato Market(CodeCanyon), This is the reason we dont have an update on it.

This issue is Already Highlighted we will get back to you once it is resolved.

Please Use Classic Editor for Post (to edit text) rather than Visual Composer.
It will work for you.
wp-admin > post > Add New > Use Classic Editor (dont use Visual Composer here).
