in reply to: Demo install fails
Hi Azam
Thank you, I know you are working very hard to help resolve this problem.
The demo install does seem to work 95% ok, but there are issues. If you look at Home Page Dark for example, the ‘Subscribe On’ icons are missing, and in the footer one of the menu sections is missing.
And of course the install process fails. So it is only 95% and I want 100%.
For the server – I use Digital Ocean and there is no cPanel. Tell me specifically what you need to do and I will ask my tech guys to explain how they do it.
Regards, Neil.
in reply to: Demo install failsHi
I don’t think there’s any need for that any more? It’s not a server issue, it’s a bug.
Once you fix the bug and ship me the new code, it should all work no problem.
Thanks, neil.

So what is the solution please?
in reply to: Demo install failsYes it’s a great theme, I love it.
Basically I just want the demo install process to be 100% complete. As I said it seems to work 90% ok, so it only misses a few elements, but I don’t want to go hunting for little items to fix, or be left worrying that something might go wrong in the future because one small thing was missed.
As you know it’s better to get the automation right 100%, so the set up process is once and done.
I’ve asked my techies to see how difficult it would be to revert to PHP 7.x, but again I don’t really want to go hacking at that level to fix it.
Do you want to log in and re-run the install process, to see if you can identify the problem and fix it directly? I can restore a backup to the step before the install.
thanks, Neil.
in reply to: Demo install failsHi
It is 8.0.11.
I don’t know how to revert to previous version. I use Digital Ocean for hosting and select a standard WordPress template for installation, I don’t know how to work at that server level. It seems a lot of work just to get a theme to work.
What else can I do?
It seems to work 90% ok. See: https://podcasts.vip/
There are only a few missing components, like ‘Subscribe’ icons, menu links etc.
Thanks, Neil.
in reply to: Demo install failsHi
I made all those changes, but it still fails.
Thanks, Neil.
