Hi
When I run the demo content install, it fails with ‘Internal Server Error 500’.
Thanks, Neil.
-
Hi,
The error is related to the Server, not the theme. Please check your web server fulfills the below characteristics at least value.memory_limit = 256M
post_max_size = 64M
upload_max_filesize = 64M
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 1000Thanks,

Hi
I made all those changes, but it still fails.
Thanks, Neil.

Hi,
Make sure your web server has PHP version 7.x not 8.x. Currently, PHP version 7.x is the recommended for Codeless Livecast theme. If this isn’t the case then please share the error you’ve faced while installing demo data.Thanks,
-
Hi
It is 8.0.11.
I don’t know how to revert to previous version. I use Digital Ocean for hosting and select a standard WordPress template for installation, I don’t know how to work at that server level. It seems a lot of work just to get a theme to work.
What else can I do?
It seems to work 90% ok. See: https://podcasts.vip/
There are only a few missing components, like ‘Subscribe’ icons, menu links etc.
Thanks, Neil.

Hi,
First of all, you don’t have to worry about these things. Working with the Codeless Livecast theme is very easy and user-friendly.Just point out things that ain’t working. We’ll try to figure out things and will try to provide you an optimal solution.
Thanks,
-
Yes it’s a great theme, I love it.
Basically I just want the demo install process to be 100% complete. As I said it seems to work 90% ok, so it only misses a few elements, but I don’t want to go hunting for little items to fix, or be left worrying that something might go wrong in the future because one small thing was missed.
As you know it’s better to get the automation right 100%, so the set up process is once and done.
I’ve asked my techies to see how difficult it would be to revert to PHP 7.x, but again I don’t really want to go hacking at that level to fix it.
Do you want to log in and re-run the install process, to see if you can identify the problem and fix it directly? I can restore a backup to the step before the install.
thanks, Neil.

Hi,
We’re working on it and will let you know ASAP.In the meantime, please share the information about your web hosting server. Moreover, could you share the Cpanel credentials(username, password) and also share the path to the log file.
It’d be very difficult for us to diagnose the issue without having the above information.
Thanks,
-
Hi
I don’t think there’s any need for that any more? It’s not a server issue, it’s a bug.
Once you fix the bug and ship me the new code, it should all work no problem.
Thanks, neil.

Neil,
I have gone thru the whole procedure and I saw your demo is being imported perfectly – Just on last you are getting 500 error, We haven’t seen /faced this error on our server and same i have tested on another Server.This Error particularly coming to Only on your server, It may be due to different configuration of web server. I need Admin (cpanel full access) in order to investigate the issue.
I also noticed your demo site is installed and there is no issue.
You can read forums other user views, This is not a common problem, no one faced this type problem ever before – not After you (your purchase) as well.
We are here for you, Please do help us to get it fixed.
Thanks,
-
Hi Azam
Thank you, I know you are working very hard to help resolve this problem.
The demo install does seem to work 95% ok, but there are issues. If you look at Home Page Dark for example, the ‘Subscribe On’ icons are missing, and in the footer one of the menu sections is missing.
And of course the install process fails. So it is only 95% and I want 100%.
For the server – I use Digital Ocean and there is no cPanel. Tell me specifically what you need to do and I will ask my tech guys to explain how they do it.
Regards, Neil.

Neil,
Get back with me php/web server log file. I want to see error details.Thanks,

Hi,
I havent got enough clue so far, I need to investigate further.
Please answer all these questions.
– You said you are using DigitalOcean without cpanel.
– Which OS you are using – Windows / Linux
– When you last time imported the demo, Please mention the date/time so i can see exact date in log files.
– Did you spoken with Tech Support of DigitalOcean – As I already told you that, we havent got any report like this type error (Before / after your purchase).Thanks,
-
Hi guys
All fixed now! :-)
It was the PHP version. Reverted that and the import works perfectly.
It is still missing the ‘Subscribe on’ icons, in the Featured Podcast elementor box. I think this is maybe because I have to specify a URL for each service? If so, where do I do that?
Also how do I change the logo? I changed it in the Customizer but that didn’t affect the site.
Many thanks,
Cheers, Neil.
