Hi,

I respect the individual change/adaption regarding the theme.
But if using a standard page-builder like vc, now wpbakery, the standard functions should be there.

were we’re not able to delete our own templates.
This is an example of a dead lock situation due to missing standard functions.

AND:
If I understood you correctly, you claim that WPBakery functions are not secure or do not work correctly?
That would further mean that all who use WPBakery are using an insecure system that does not work correctly?!
If these do not work in conjunction with the theme, then I would like to know where the problems are here.
A theme should provide a basic structure, provide templates, additional functions and elements if necessary, but not restrict to use other standard functions, so for example standard plugins.

These facts are for many basic requirements to use a theme.

Hi,

you replied not to my issue ;o)

Issue is regarding the function to delete OWN templates which can be added via WPBakery (elements and sections).

I made a bunch of templates to reuse them on other pages.
No I tried to get rid of some of them – no chance –> management feature to delete them is missing.

Hi,

“Some of the elements are disabled or removed due to security and compatibility concerns.”
But which of them?

As a user I’d like to know which plugins I can install and which not.

The case is, that I bought WPBakery as a full license, but can not use the full stack because of the theme; and I should be able to add elements (from plugins) to get other functions, like hover functions.

How can I help me out?

This helps & hopefully others two who will read this topic ;o)

Maybe you should think about adjusting that in the theme because it’s kind of frustrating when you choose “LayerSlider” as an element, but you’re not able to choose one…

yes I know, but not within a Block/Row!
See the same page, 4th row and try to add the LayerSlider!

Hi,
sure I have to create some, what I did!
As I wrote I already included LayerSliders in the them version before 4.x (and they’re still alive), but if I try to add one one my (existing) LayerSlider to a page (since V. 4.x of the theme), “no sliders found” is shown.

Therefore it’s not a problem of LayerSlider but integrating them in the pages.

As I can see you’ve made a backup, haven’t you?
At the moment I transfer a backup via wetransfer – can I stop this process therefore?

Am I able to work on my changes again?

What Du you mean with “Cpanel”?
The credentials for ftp & wp are already on your side.
Backup can be done on your own with Backup PlugIn…

Kindly inform me when things are done, because I’m in the urgent process in updating the sites content.
