in reply to: Paid Support & Header Image
Hi Mihalia,
Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, can you please add the same slider of the test page into the homepage? If you can, making it 20% smaller (while keeping the same width) would be great.
Regarding the page title not showing, increasing the height still isn’t working. I increased the height to 100px on the Ear, Nose, & Throat Specialist page and the title is not displaying. I did the same for the Facial Plastic Surgery page and again the title did not display.
Sorry for being a pain! Your help is greatly appreciated.
in reply to: Paid Support & Header ImageHi Mihalia,
The slider looks great on the test page. I’m not sure why I can’t get it to look like that on the homepage. The settings seem to be the exact same. Any idea why this is happening?
Also, don’t mind the content on the pediatric otolaryngology page – I was confusing theme support with plugin support. I will be able to figure that part out.
One more thing – I’m not sure what happened to the title/header of the pages? For example, https://www.entdoctorlevine.com/services/facial-plastic-surgery/, it should say “Facial Plastic Surgery” right above the text somewhere. It used to show that way on all pages, and I’m not sure what I did to make that disappear.
Thank you!
in reply to: Paid Support & Header ImageWow sorry, can’t believe I missed that.
Anyway, I uploaded the image there and it still isn’t showing. You can see here: https://imgur.com/PF6HaMC. I have the Codeless slider disabled as well.
Also, the content on the “Pediatric Otolaryngology” page isn’t showing anymore (https://www.entdoctorlevine.com/pediatric-otolaryngology/). I’m using the “section” plugin element to display the content. Does that not work anymore? If not, do you have another suggestion?
in reply to: Paid Support & Header ImageGeneral Options > Header Options > Default Page Header. I am not seeing the Default Page Header area. As far as I can tell there is no place to upload a header image here. To be clear, this is where I am: https://imgur.com/a/R0d5m
Please let me know. Thanks.
I’m also not sure why when I respond it automatically adds all this HTML. Sorry about that.

in reply to: Paid Support & Header ImageI will look into the “About Us” page after getting the homepage sorted out. Do you have any idea why the image I have for the homepage header is not showing?
in reply to: Paid Support & Header ImageHi.
Thanks for the response. To be clear, I have been using the Codeless slider for the homepage header. I tried following your advice by disabling the codeless slider for the page and instead uploading the image to the page header options > page header background area but the header image doesn’t show at all now (I used “cover” as well). Any advice?
in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerMy server support specialist said that he increased max_input_vars limit to 3000. However, he says he is not able to restart Apache. Does this make sense to you?
Steve Levine: did you restart apache?
Gangadhara S: No, I did not and we can not restart the server on shared account.
Steve Levine: Plugin support says that Apache needs to be restarted</span></div>
Gangadhara S: Sorry that is not possible Steve. Could be it is termed differently. Please contact them and get back to us if they need anything to be changed from server end.
Thank you in advance for any insight.
in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerThanks for the response.
The post grid’s formatting looks better, but it’s still showing just one page when I have it set to show all pages.
The problem with using the Latest Blog element instead of the Post Grid is that the Latest Blog element can only show blog posts. I want to show pages. Is there another way to do this?
Thank you.
in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerHi Mihalia,
Did you do some testing with this? The domain has been down since Friday I believe.
Thanks,
Steve
in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerThanks for your response. I forwarded your message to my hosting provider and they gave me different credentials. I updated the FTP username and password in the private area of my profile. They also gave me these credentials:
host 50.87.248.127port 21
Do these help? Thank you!

That’s okay. Thank you for your help. I updated my profile to include the FTP login data (although I’m not quite sure what the FTP URL is.) Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks again!
in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerMihalia,
I updated the theme and the plugin to the most recent versions of both and I’m still having the same problem with Visual Composer’s Post Grid element. Any more ideas? Thanks for all your help.
Best,
Steve
in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerHi Mihalia,
Thank you. Do I have to delete the old Specular theme before uploading the updated theme? This is the message I am getting now:
Installing the theme from uploaded file: specular.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /home2/entdoc1/public_html/wp-content/themes/specular/
Theme install failed.
Thanks,Steve

in reply to: Compatibility Issue with VIsual ComposerHi Mihalia,
I tried to update to the latest theme but it says the following:
“Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforst-9412083-specular-responsive-multipurpose-business-theme.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
Wordpress is updated to its latest version (4.7). Any ideas? Thanks for all your help.– Steve
