Same issue, we have 3 licenses / websites running with specular.
We didn´t update for long, now we have security issues and have to.

We´re running Specular 2.6.3, and everything is built with WPbakery Page Builder.
I´ve read all the update problems because of the builder-switch to elementor, so for now – i dont know what to do and how th update.
I cannot rebuild all the pages, it will not be paid from customer-side.

How can i update to the newest version of theme and wordpress?
What update first? Please advise how to update from Specular 2.6

I have the same problem. after updating the theme, the menu options for dropdown menu are no longer working and have no effect. the font color changed, i did nothing…in the code the color is defined as “inherit”, even i have set it to white with !important in custom css…..it takes no effect….can you help ?

Hey dear Developers,

i have the same problem. On pages with rev-slider, the submenu is not showing up, when hovering over the 1st level-menu…at other pages without rev-slider, it is working.

How have you fixed this? Can you help please?

Yeah !!! You are soooo good !!! It worked fine, now on 2 projects with specular theme every icon on the buttons is displayed.

Thank you so much. I always make marketing for your theme @ my customers because of the real good support. Will buy some new licenses soon for new projects.

maybe it works with some custom css, to display the icon in the Button with !important?

Hi Mihaila,

thanks for replying. I tested other forms – the go button doesnt work with font awesome, but when i use “Service small icon” it works – and it works @ all other iconboxes.

so the issue is only @ the buttons and with font awesome.

I have this issue on 2 Websites, would be cool to fix this globally, then i dont have to fix every icon manually (with other icon library)

Hi Mihaila,

cleared all cache and refreshed – nothing changed :-(

deactivated all plugins – nothing changed

when i change the icon library to “typicons” -> icon IS DISPLAYED !

so it is an font awesome issue – maybe that helps to get a solution?

i added this to force https:

EDIT –> NO, Problem persists, icons still not displayed

Just updated. Anything newest version. VC and Layerslider up to date, too.

Deactivated and tested all plugins and have tried – issue persists – no icons.

Where is the font-awesome loaded? maybe it is a https-issue and blocked from my htaccess?

i have the same problem…importing demo data stops @ 65%…everytime….i´m not new to this. Edited the wp-config and extended the memory like u said above. But nothing works…And like many others who buy themes i´m in a hurry and need to finish the site quickly^^ so i would be glad 2 get a quick answer. Thank u my codeless friends
