I replaced the file (content). I see no change… :-(
The accordion looks strange and the VC settings are complete different as the one in Specular 1.4.4.

What do you mean ‘there is no change’? I can see now the accordion titles are displaying. Before the edit they didn’t. You can change the style in accordion settings > Style.
Sorry for the lack of clarity. Here another point of view.
After the update (from Specular 1.4.4 to 1.5) I have problems with the accordions.
Before the update you could setup the accordion with the following 14 settings:
Widget title, Style, Shape, Color, Y/N Fill, Spacing, Gap, Alignment, Autoplay, Y/N Allow col. all, Icon, Position, Active Section and Extra classname.

After the update to Specular 1.5 the accordions didn’t function at all. You fixed that; thanks! BUT, it is not possible to setup the original look and feel. The reason: The accordion setting have now only 4 settings: Widget title, Y/N Disable keyboard interaction, Extra classname and Style. See http://www.pipapo.nl (home) and (PROINT) page for the error message form the accordion.

I understand your point but this is the number of settings that this element is going to have. I have confirmed with the developer team and the previous settings are not scheduled to be added soon. This is due to the recent changes that Visual Composer has made.
besides the accordion title is not shown (with your provided file it works again), also the button in the element “Post Masonry Grid” with the template “Masonry Grid: default” isn’t working anymore. It shows only the shortcode:
Would be great if you can look at it. Please consider adding the newest version of js composer in the next specular update, because the performance improved a lot.

Please go to file includes/core/codeless_elements.php and find this line: vc_remove_element("vc_btn");
replace with this: //vc_remove_element("vc_btn");
We do always include the latest released versions of all included plugins. However, thanks for pointing it out. We will include it for sure.
I have the same problem with the accordion title. I am using specular 1.5 and composer 8.1. I change the vc_accordion_tab.php in js_composer/include/templates/shjortcodes/ . I recreated the element, but it shows no title. Where is the mistake?
