I’m trying to find a way to display an RSS feed of posts from a remote blog. This is easy enough to do using the RSS widget in a widgetized area such as the sidebar or footer, however, I’d like to add this to one of the sections on the homepage – where a theme element would typically go.
It seems like there are two possible options, somehow widgetizing that area of the page or adding raw HTML or Javascript code to pull in and display a feed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
OK, found the answer to my own question: need to add back the Widgetized Sidebar element. That did the trick. Curious why it was removed. Seems like a really powerful feature.
