Anchor LinksPage Jumps

I have buttons with links to another section on the page.

The button has a link to contactUs and the contact form is in a row with an id set of contactUs.  However, when clicking the button, there is no action.  When I turn off the visual composer and read the text in classic mode, I cannot see the link mentioned anywhere.  In visual composer, I can actual see the #contactUs link displayed at the place I expect to see it, only there is no action on click.

Please can you point me in the right direction?

      Hello,

Sorry but that is not possible. The section link is available only for rows in the one page template.

      Best regards!

sorry, but I think one of us is misunderstanding.

in plain html you use tags ‘<div id=”contactUs”>’ which allows a link ‘https://a.b.c/mypage#contactUs&#8217; to work.

How is this not possible when using this theme?  You even use it on your demo page.

Please can you relook at my question?

      Hello,

All the buttons in our demo link to external links. Only the one page layout has links within the page. Please send us a link where you have this. So i can understand better your point.

      Best regards!

do you know what, this is really a poor service level.  it takes you a week to answer, and then you ask me to explain my point? really? Is my point so hard to understand from my previous post?

And if your theme doesn’t allow me to do straight forward things like that, i’d rather not have it.  add painful and slow support responses to the mix, i’m better of going elsewhere.

At no time during the purchase process did you declare that basic html functionality does not work, so I feel that the theme is misrepresented.  Please can you advise how I get a refund on my purchase?

      Hello,

      Sorry for the inconvenience.
The id’s you set in row settings, can be used as custom links in menu for the “One page” template. You can set the link as presented in your menu items and it will redirect to the row that has that id.
But this is available for the one page layout. It is not possible to link a simple button with another section of page if it is not set as one page.

Please see this video tutorial regarding it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmu7eFKY8qE

      Best regards!
