Animated GIFs in Portfolio Items

  Hi,
  
  I am trying to use some animated GIFs as featured images in portfolio items but they do not resize correctly, unlike JPEGs.
  
  Therefore the grid on the portfolio page appears “broken”.
  
  Can you confirm this is an issue caused by the image type?

  Sorry, gif images aren’t supported in featured images.
