Hello,
I want to configure an animation for a Visual Composer component that should start once the component enters the browser viewport. I know how to set up a normal animation what does not really make sense for me to configure because once the end user arrives the animated section the animation is already over.
Addtionally I already read in other posts, that I should no try to animate the component itself but the column the component is placed in. Nevertheless if I try to configure the animation it does not seem to work for me. Any special hints?
Thank you.

Hello,
The animation is triggered when the page loads in the browser. Only in mobile the animation of a section will be triggered when you scroll to that section (the first time you open the page).
You can add animation to either the column, or the element (if the element’s options allow it), to your choice/convenience.
What element/page are you trying to animate? What exactly do you want to achieve? Can we see a link of it?Best regards!

Hello,
okay thanks for the information. So everything seems to work on the mobile as you described it (I did not check it on mobile before). Nevertheless it is unfortune that it is not working on desktops and I wonder as it is working on one of your demo sites (on the section before “Latest news”).

The site of my customer is continously in work right now so it does not make sense to send a link of that. But I will achieve something similar to that.

Hello,
I suppose you are referring to the animated counters in the demo link. That is the default behavior of the animated counters. But keep in mind that the counters need to be below he page preview when you first load it, in order for them to start animating when you scroll to that section.
It is the same theme used in the default demo and your site so there should not be any difference. If you still have questions regarding this, just send us your site’s link when you are ready and we’ll check it again.Best regards!

Hello,
no it is not the counter I was referring too but I was able to configure it successfully as I wanted it.
For everybody who wants to now how:
1. Create a new row
2. Divide the row to two columns (optional)
3. Go to columns setting (not row settings)
4. Activate “Do you want animation for this column?” Two new attribute fields will appear.
5. Select your preferred animation under “Select Animation”
6. Select an animation delay under “Animation Delay” in ms. Means write “5000” for 5 seconds delay. The animation (or delay) will start when the column is entering the view port.
Greetings
