Hello there,
I was trying to create a blog post layout similar to the one on https://preview.codeless.co/specular/default/?p=451. But it’s not working for me. I’m not being able to get the same visual effects with my blog post – https://globalmindedprof.com/india-fulbright-sample-blog-2-standard-post-type/. Can you please help me figure out what’s going on.Thanks

Hi,
You can select the mentioned style on a blog post simply by selecting the “Fullscreen” style option.You can access the option through
Edit the blog post, Navigate to options(below the content), Blog post style, select the “Fullscreen” style option, and update the Post, done.If you encountered the issues using the above methods, then you can learn about the changes that you can do to the theme;

I selected the “Fullscreen” style option and a full width hero image did appear but the post doesn’t scroll down to the content as it does on https://preview.codeless.co/specular/default/?p=451. The little white “down arrow icon” doesn’t work either. Can you please help troubleshoot this? https://globalmindedprof.com/india-fulbright-sample-blog-2-standard-post-type/
Thanks

Hello Azam,
This worked. Thanks for the troubleshooting help. One more question, is there a way to not display posts on the Blog page? Meaning I don’t want my blog page populated with the latest posts instead want to build a custom blog page consisting of a layout similar to https://preview.codeless.co/specular/default/?page_id=594. But not being able to override the default “Blog” page isn’t working for me. Any help here will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Hi,
The page link you’ve mentioned not displaying the blog posts but is a combination of simple text and the lightbox effect on the image.If you don’t wanna display the default blog style on your site then
1- Create a Page with the blog/news name
2- Add the Blog posts grid widget on the page
3- Select the Blog Posts style/Item design which best suits you
4- Save Changes
5- Done.Thanks,

The “Posts Page” settings under Settings>Reading is causing the Blog page to still auto-populate with all the blog posts. https://globalmindedprof.com/blog/. I wanted to be able to disable that which is not working. Does this make sense?
Thanks
