I’m having trouble getting the background image for the codeless slider in Agency 2 theme to show. The picture in the default URL (https://codeless.co/specular/agency2/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/f1-compressed-1.jpg) doesn’t show. I tried uploading a new image in the slide (codeless slider > slides > side1) but it doesn’t show as well.
Could you pls help? Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
The default image is available so it has to be a issue with your access rights. Please make sure you have all necessary permissions to access all theme files and external ones.
If you send us your site’s url, we can give it a closer look.Best regards!

No worries and thanks for your reply.
We are using still building it internally and therefore have no URL for your to access to from public.
Would it be possible to arrange a remote session using Teamviewer instead?
-
Hello,
Sorry but is not possible to have the Team Viewer session. If the issue persists after uploading the site to your online server, please let us know. So we can check it up.
Best regards!

Hello
Sorry, we won’t be able to upload this to a public online server as we do not have one.
Since it’s not possible to have TV session, could we send you screenshots that you need to check?
We really need help here. Thanks.

Just realised that I can’t attach any picture with this forum reply. How can I send them to you? Do you have an email?
-
Hello,
You can upload them online (via Share.Photo, or Postimage) and paste here the url.
Best regards!

Hello,
You have the site in an intranet web. And you are getting the image from internet. Most probably the intranet rules do not allow the image import from an outside web. You should either check your permissions for outside connections or import the image in your local server (import at site’s media library).
Best regards!

Hello,
This is strange. This never happened on our side. I can’t just guess the reason for this, without a possibility to debug it..but i suggest to check the z-index of the background image. Perhaps you need to increase it.
If this doesn’t help, then i suggest you hire a developer to fix this for you.Best regards!

Anything to do with WP settings or plugins? I have tried reinstalling WP and the theme on a new directory but the same problem persists. Pls help.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
Since you do not have any error in your site, i am left without many options to explain this. Please deactivate the UpdraftPlus plugin too, and check if it will affect the slider.
Did you change the slider images z-index like suggested in the above replies? Let us know.Best regards!

Hello,
You should find the correct css class of slider image, try it via inspect element (press F12 in your keyboard). Make the changes in the css sidebar at the right. If it works, add that css into your custom css box.
Try out this:.codeless_slider .swiper-slide { z-index: 9999; }
Let us know.
Best regards!

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
You had selected Codeless Slider but not any slider. I selected the “home” slider and it does show without problem. Please check your site.Best regards!

That’s great! Thanks for your help.
Sorry I don’t get you on this. How do I select “any slider”.
-
Hello,
In page’s General Settings > Sliders Options, you have the option to select one of the available sliders to use (Codeless slider / Revolution / Layerslider / Flex slider) and then after selecting one of the above, you get a drop-down of sliders available for that type of slider. But you had not selected any slider from the available ones, screenshot.
Best regards!
