This is the third time I’m asking for assistance on this problem. I have a slider on every page, but I’ve been told that sliders won’t work on blog pages. My navigation will now not show up because it is white, intended to overlay an image. I need help with this. How do I get either color or a full-width image behind my navigation on the blog pages? Here is an example:

Weirdly, on some of the pages, the image in the default header appears behind the navigation, but when I create a new post, with the exact same specification, it doesn’t show up that way. It shows up with the white bar. I have no idea why. Here’s an example:
This is clearly a flaw, I’m not asking for customization, and as I said, this is my third request for assistance.
Thanks,

I’ve discovered that if I turn on the slider, and assign a slider to the page, I’ll get the header image, not the slider I picked, but the default header image, to appear behind the nav. This doesn’t make any sense. I just want to have my nav visible on very page. I’m not asking a lot.
Thanks,

Hi,
that’s not what the problem is at all. I said, clearly, that the navigation and logo are not visible, because a white bar appears behind the navigation and logo. I realize that I can set the logo to the dark version, but the navigation is still invisible. On top of that, no matter what I do, I can’t customize the header of each page. The only thing that works is setting up the default header, which is not ideal, because I have two different blog sections that need two different headers. The way that I’ve gotten this to work so far, which is not really logical, more like a bug, is by turning on the slider, assigning a slider, and the setting it to full width. The slider doesn’t appear, but atleast the header image shows up behind the navigation and logo.
So, just so you understand, here’s what I need:
– the ability to see my navigation on the blog page. It’s white on every other page, because it’s overlaying an image. On the blog pages, I can’t get there to be a background behind the nav, because I was told that the sliders don’t work on blog pages, which is a serious flaw and should be fixed. Regardless, how do I get my navigation to be visible on blog pages? This is what it looks like: https://megagroupinvestigations.com/wp/2015/07/. I can’t give this to my client, because there’s no visible navigation.
– the ability to change the header images on each blog page. Right now, that’s not working.
– right now, on the blog pages that you can see the navigation, it’s because of a bug involving the slider being turned on. I’m assuming this will go away on the next update, or somehow otherwise stop working, because it’s clearly a bug, so I need some solution that is more reliable.
Does that all make sense? I’ve been waiting days for help. Please give me some kind of solution. If you want to set up a page that works as intended, please do.
Thanks for your help,
– Daniel
