Hi,
How can I disable showing the author when I use the blog timeline style?
Thanks,
Carolina

Also, how do I remove the comments title at the bottom? I wont’ allow comments on any pages or posts. https://www.squarefootcreative.com/rainbow/2013-success-stories/

Sorry, another issue with the blog. I would like to use the visual editor because it allows me to keep things cleaner such as this page: https://www.squarefootcreative.com/rainbow/2013-success-stories/
However, it seems that if I use the visual editor, I lose the first sentences of the blog preview (eg. https://www.squarefootcreative.com/rainbow/news/page/2/). It doesn’t show the text preview, only the title and the read more button.
How can I use the visual editor and still keep the first sentences during the blog post preview?

Hello,
1- You can disable showing the author in General Options > Blog Config > Show author at blog post (NO).
2- To remove comments, add these lines into your custom css box:.blog-article.timeline-style .info li:first-child { display: none; } #comments { display: none; }
3- Sorry that is not possible.
Best regards!

Hi,
Thank you for the CSS code, that worked to hide the comments.
Regarding the answer to #1, I have already disabled the author under blog configurations. The author doesn’t show for each post. However, it still shows under the main blog page (see screenshot: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s554/sh/eacfef1f-b227-4901-a9d9-e5e22fdd48f0/89b48e25dc4f49ec78276e75cf1be1e9). I want this removed. How do I do that?
Regarding question #3, is there a workaround for this issue? There should be a way to use the visual editor while still showing the first few lines of text. (See screenshot detailing my issue: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s554/sh/9d9174bf-6f74-4c47-9767-8c7e6fb5e10f/3e8c1f28624d83b47fb2755d8efb58b5)
Thanks,
Carolina

I found a solution for #3. I just had to go to the first row and insert with text content and insert a read more tag.
Still waiting for your help with question #2.

Hello,
To remove author avatar, please add these lines into your custom css box:
.blog-article.timeline-style .timeline .avatar { display: none; }
Best regards!
