Can't install required plugins – "Cannot load tgmpa-install-plugins" error

  Hi there,
  
  We are trying to install required plugins via Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install plugins section, but keep getting the following error message:
  
  “Cannot load tgmpa-install-plugins”
  
  Could you please help us to fix it? We have couple websites running on the Specular theme and we wanted to update Layer Slider to the latest version which you currently have in the theme pack. We deactivated and deleted the old Layer Slider plugin from the website and were planning to re-install it again via required plugin section, but got the above error. We concerned that we will get the same error on our other website as well.
  
  All websites are currently running on 2.6.1 Specular theme version.
  
  We also have 5 months left of the theme support, which we can see on the themeforest website, but here on our profile page it is said that “The support time has expired.” ?
