Although my site is still in development i’m starting to look at optimisation.
Viewing the source of the pages – for example the home page – I can see that there is a large section of white space which ought to be removed.
This seems to occur on every page. However, due to the way in whcih the theme assembles the pages I cannot locate the relevent files to edit.
For example – there is no index.php page, instead there is a template part architecture.
In addition, all pages seem to have reams and reams of inline style for fonts.
I would like to thin this down, so only the applicable fonts are called.
All of this is located in the <head> section of each page.
How can this be cleaned up?
Hi,
Our theme files are already optimized – you can see our front-end (css/js etc..) are minified.
You can share sample code / screen shot where you think needs more improvement.
Thanks,
