Anyway, I see there is not more fatal error, but Codeless Slider disappeared from menu, in the homepage the slider is missing.

I replaced old theme folder with new theme folder, then I installed required plugins.
What did I wrong?

I think a video is useless in this case.
Simply there is not Codeless Slider as post type in the backend.
And in the homepage the slider is of course missing because I cannot select an existing one.

I even tried to select Specular as active theme, instead of its child, but nothing has changed.

This website is active since 2016, and I passed from Specular 2.0 until today, so I think I know how to upgrade :)

I replaced files in child theme according with the new templates.
Nothing has changed.
Plus I noticed that header images in portfolio pages have disappeared.
I don’t know what to do really :_(

I spent an hour trying to restore the version 4.2.5 and after several attempts e fatal errors I had to comment row 569
//if ( is_plugin_active( ‘specular-wpbakery-addons/specular-wpbakery-addons.php’ ) )
in register-pos-types.php in codeless framework.
to reach a stable situation and retrieve Codeless Slider.

Please look into it if possible to update to 4.2.8

Are you sure your previous version was 4.2.5?
can i access previous specular folder (which you have replaced with latest one) via ftp?

I restored and activated theme version 4.2.5 but you have also 4.2.8 inactive (it is named specular-new).
If I switch to 4.2.8 and update related plugins codeless and redux frameworks, I get fatals errors. This is why I posted this ticket.

I granted access to wp-admin and ftp. Can you help me to update without getting these errors, or should I stop updating this website?
