So I removed a section from the footer in Elementor that by default had the address and hours of the business. I completely took this section out and on the computer it’s how it should be. However, when I look at it on my phone having never gone to the site before, this section still shows? Everything else appears to be working so I’m not sure what’s happening. Thanks!

Hi,
Then it may be cache inside your phone browser. Have you tried by removing your phone cache ? Kindly, make sure you remove your phone browser cache and check again and let me know if that works for you ?
Thanks

Hi, yes I’ve tried that. It works fine on Safari but it seems to be a problem with Firefox, at least. In fact, there are several issues beyond the address. It won’t show blog posts and it still shows code from before I removed the newsletter

Hi,
For your removed content make sure you remove from the intended footer or sidebar as that is being used in multiple footers/sidebars that may confuse you.
For the things which are different can you please be specific so I can give it a try ?
Thanks

I mean, it’s possible for me to edit it in elementor/the sidebar. Since it’s showing up properly in Safari it seems to me that it’s a problem that’s not user error. I’ve edited every single footer in the Appearance Codeless Header/Footer area.
The site is criticalpointpod.com
Specifically when you click on the blog page it will not show the posts and on many pages it still shows the newsletter code along with the office address in the footer. Again, I’ve edited every single one through the Appearance tab with elementor so I’m not sure how this is possible after clearing the cache. -
Hi,
Kindly send me admin login credentials as a private reply so I can check for you ?
Thanks

Hi,
I could see that info just fine and it is working just make sure you delete your mobile cheche and check again.
It is only related to cache now.
Thanks

I’ve been on vacation so I wasn’t able to check. I don’t know what to tell you, the Login link still goes to the wrong place no matter how many times I go in to edit it. The footer on the main page still has the default address and the newsletter code still shows up. This was the same case when I first wrote about my issue here – we had already cleared the cache. My entire family has tried to view it, all have deleted their cache…Now it’s doing a thing where after I’ve cleared the cache or try to view it in a private window it won’t load anything other than a black screen. It’s not just related to mobile or browser. If you’d like me to record videos or take pictures of what I’m seeing I’m happy to

Hi,
Well, its almost 3 weeks gone and even I don’t remember the state of your website. So, I recorded this video for you https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Au5MlQC7er2JrM5oMxpk9NniUV67Ur35/view you can let me know what is the issue you are facing right now ?
Thanks

Well, I’m primarily glad it looks good on your end as that’s what matters! I’ve been trying various things in the past few days to clear the cache in different ways on my family devices and for some reason it’s decided to look correct to us today. I think part of it may have been the plugin I was using to speed up the website. Still no idea what was going on!

Hi,
Cache was the culprit as I said. Because once cache is enabled it stores all static content in our computers and provides us website from that rather than getting from live version. In such cases the only thing left for us to delete whole cache and disabling any cache plugins :)
But, I am glad that you can finally see that.
Thanks
