One of your selling points to this theme is that it is “CREATED WITH RESEARCH – All new web design features and SEO practices are used for this theme to made it the most useful and successful theme ever created.”
However, I’ve just created a page with a Codeless Slider and the Heading Title block similar to how the demo content is setup. Things are looking really nice so I decided to check the source code to find out if I have duplicate h1 tags to find that their are 3 of them. This is a big no no for SEO and it will harm your search rankings.
It looks like the Heading Title block codes the titles as an H1 and there are two on the page I am working on. One of the two is part of the demo content but the Codeless Slider also codes the Title as an H1.
Can you assist me in correcting this problem? I love the theme and would hate to have to look for another one that doesn’t code those items as h1’s, but when it comes down to SEO and my rankings, I’d much rather work with a theme that doesn’t do that.
Let me know your thoughts, I look forward to working this out.
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
Edit:
Since Tower theme uses HTML5, the use of <h1>
tags is not an disadvantage in SEO techniques nor technical regards anymore. It is possible to have multiple <h1>
level headings per webpage that will help your search engines rates. It is actually the recommended course. You can use <h1>
tags safely in the future in our theme.
Source.
Best regards!
