Is there a way to add a css animation to just a text block? When I create a text block and save it, I see a little grey text at the base of the preview of the text block which reads “CSS ANIMATION:”, but I do not seem to be able to set a css animation property in the text block settings. Is this just a bug?

Also, I can set a background color under the design options for the text block, but it does not seem to affect the page in any way. Can you explain how to use these properties?

      Hello,

The css animation is removed from the text block element in the latest version (in your version). You can set animation to column which have the text block element.

About the second question, it’s a setting of Visual Composer. We will do an theme update and fix it. Anyway you can set the background color to row or column.

      Best regards!

Hi! Has this feature been fixed? I’m having the same problem throughout the site. I’m wanting to set background colours and padding in an text block without changing the background colour of it’s  column and row. The options are there under the Design Options tab, but none of them work.

I have the newest version installed 1.2.5

      Hello,

We haven’t fixed it yet on text element but we will do on the next theme update.
In mean time if you can show me your site url and what you want to change, I can give you a custom css code for that.

      Best regards!

Thanks! I solved it in a different way by adding a class to captions for a coloured background colour. It’s not ideal but it’s doing what I needed it to do for now.
