I just install my theme and import the demo content from “Default” and its not working. I need to have all the content (pages, articles etc) from the Default Demo and i dont know why it’s not working. Please help!
Please make sure you have all necessary rights on files and database. So that the import process add add the content in it. Contact your host about it.
Did the import finish successfully? or did you get any error message along the way?

I was able to import the default demo dummy data. I imported without attachments(no images) in order to keep the import load size at the minimum.
I assigned the home page and blog. As well as footer widgets and the home slider.
Please continue adding and editing content.
You should add your own licensed images, but if you really want the demo ones, you can just download them from the online demo and import in your site.

I’m having a similar issue.
I’ve uploaded the Specular theme to my WordPress. But cannot import the dummy data for the theme options. Based on the web tutorials and resources, I should see a preview of the themes in the import menu – but it is blank. I’ve located the dummy data folder in my FTP and it is empty. I thought this was strange, so I again uploaded the specular theme a few hours ago after a fresh download, but it is still empty. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You can import/install any of the dummy/demo data from
WP-Admin Dashboard > Specular Home > Starter Sites > Hover over the “Parallax Ski” Demo > Click on the “import” button > Click on the “Import button” on popup > Done.

The home slider is set by default to have a Codeless slider. These sliders are already imported for your from the dummy data import process.
To assign it to your page, go to the page’s General Settings > Slider Options. Select one of the available sliders in the first drop-down list, and then select one of it’s pre-created sliders to show up in the page from the second drop-down list.
However, something is not right in your installation as the slider is not being showed in the page, even thought i already set it up in the option panel.
Can you please send us some ftp credentials as well? You can add them in your profile data.

thanks for having helping me with the demo. I have just a last problem with the “team” part. I would like to put more text in each text block for each person, but i dont know how i can do it… I need to put like 7 lines of text.
To show more text to staff you have to change theme files. Go to file vc_templates/staff.php and find these lines: $output .= '<p>'.codeless_text_limit(get_the_excerpt(), 25).'</p>';
Replace with this: $output .= '<p>'.codeless_text_limit(get_the_content(), 255).'</p>';
Where 255 is the number of words to show. Change it to your need.
