I bought specular theme yesterday and first installed wordpress with 1-click on my host (united-domains.de).
So I’m sure I have the latest versions of everything.
I tried to import dummy data several times (different demos) and also read through a lot of questions of other users hoping to get it done on my own. But much to my regret I have to say that it NEVER looks the way it looks on the demos.
I like to have the default version but when the import is complete it doesn’t look like on your website. I also tried the online builder and exported to text in the file but nothing happened.
Because of this multiple tries I had too much data an my webspace, therefore I deleted everything and reinstalled wordpress and the theme many times, trying to start straight from the beginning but never succeded.
So please – what else can you suggest that I can start right away with the default dummy data from your demo version??? It really looks good and I would really love to use it as it is.
I see you have already imported dummy data successfully. You only needed to set up home page and blog in Settings > Readings. I did it for you. Also add all the widgets you want in footer, at Appearance > Widgets.
