Hello again,
After reinstalling the theme and updating the Visual Composer, I am having issues updating certain aspects of the website.
For instance, please view the screenshot attached: https://www.omifirm.com/wp-content/uploads/screenshot-1.jpg
Even though I have set the colors of the blog title, it still displays in a different color. And there is a blue background that used not to be there before. I also need to manually edit every post for the sidebar to show. The general settings do not seem to make any changes no matter how many times I try to change it.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Do you have changed the default login link of the site? I tried login in to dashboard using yoursite.com/wp-admin and yoursite.com/wp-login and none work. Can you please update the correct login link in your profile data? So we can check this closely.
Best regards!

Hello,
Two of the required plugins were not installed while other third party plugins are installed too. I installed the 2 required plugins already. I see the blue bar flashing wherever the page is refreshed, but this is not part of theme style. I suspect one of the plugins is causing it. Please deactivate all third party plugins. Clear cache and check again.
Best regards!

I found the conflicting plugin – WP Rocket. When having “combine CSS files” option activated it’s causing the flashing bar and affects the theme edits as well.
There is, however, a few more issues (these happened even when all 3rd-party plugins were deactivated):
– I believe you activated WP Bakery Plugin. When activated also breaks the layout. I need to deactivate it for the theme to the site to show properly.
– Is there a possibility to change link color in blog posts? The current settings are only changing link colors in pages.
– There is an issue with categories. 2 of them show without issues. 2 do not show blog post overlay and do not allow posts to be clicked on.
Thanks.

Hello,
1-Are you referring to the “Codeless Visual Composer Backend” plugin? This is one of the recommended plugins that you have to have active for theme to be fully functional. This plugin gives you the freedom to switch from Codeless Builder to Visual Composer any time. And for elements created with one builder to be possible to edit with the other as well. Without needing to create them from scratch.
This plugin is developed from us and does not affect theme settings! If you are having any problem with it, then most probably something else is conflicting with it.2-Change blog post title and link color in Customizing > Styling > Blog (screenshot)
3-The cache plugin is blocking some js scripts. See screenshot: https://ibb.co/f87qzMj Please deactivate it and try again.
Let us know.
Best regards! -
Hello,
1 – I believe that’s the same plugin. It shows as WPBakery Page Builder when activated and breaks up the site. I’ve tried disabling all plugins and leaving it on and also deactivating all plugins that did not come with the theme. The result was the same.
This is what the site looks like if the plugin is activated: https://www.omifirm.com/wp-content/uploads/with-wpbakery-activated.jpg
This is when it’s deactivated. That’s what the site used to look like before these issues started: https://www.omifirm.com/wp-content/uploads/with-wpbakery-deactivated.jpg
2 – I’ve thoroughly looked through the section and none of the options is changing the color of links in the blog post body.
3 – It’s deactivated, but the issue still persists. I tried it with other 3rd-party plugins deactivated as well.
Thanks.

Hello,
1. I don’t really understand why you have such issue with the Wpbakery Visual Composer. Anyway i will recommend you to use the Codeless builder instead.
2. The colors of the links except the Read More can be changed : General > Stylings > Links Check Color
Check the screenshot below:
https://imgur.com/XF73ONi3.I think now is ok please check it out, i have added this custom css into the child theme:
.cl-pagination{float:left; margin-top:20px;}
Let us know.

Hello,
Thanks for looking into this.
1. Would you please let me know if at any point anyone else experiences the same issue and you happen to find that is causing it?
2. I’ve done that, but the links are still not changing. For instance, the ones I indicated here are links and there are others in the text, they are showing as regular text: https://www.omifirm.com/wp-content/uploads/Untitled-2.jpg
3. Thanks, this has solved the issue.

Hello,
We will check again this issue about the link color at the moment i have added this code into the child theme style.css:
.entry-content p a{ color:#296999 !important; }
The issue with the Visual Composer is strange and we have’t seen that before.
Anyway if for you is important i can activate it and check what cause the issue.
Let me know.
Regards!

Thanks, Ruco, links are showing properly.
If you could, that would be helpful in case we need to edit the site or create new pages. Right now, it seems like we’d need to modify the code for them.

Hello,
The custom css that i have added will affect other page too, so you don’t need to add any other custom css.
Regards!
