Hi! I am trying to create a post grid for my client’s blog. However, after creating the page, I get this error. The page partially works, loading the posts in grid, however it seems the url link buttons isn’t viewing properly.
Here is the error:Notice: Undefined index: vc_btn in /home3/pch808/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/core/class-wpb-map.php on line 361
Here is the blog grid page: https://palolohome.org/blog-home-102317/
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hello,
You have an old theme version. Please update theme first, then proceed in updating all it’s included plugins.
Read here the instruction on how to update theme and plugins:
https://codeless.co/tower/documentation/main.html#update_theme
https://support.codeless.co/?ht_kb=visual-composer-update
Let us know if the issue persists.Best regards!

Hi Mihaila – thank you for your response. I deleted the majority of the inactive plugins as you indicated and updated the Visual Composer plugin as well. I am about to update the Tower theme, however since I am currently running a child theme of Tower, how does that work? Over time I had some modifications done via support with you or someone else. (I am a WordPress newbie and don’t know how to modify things myself!!).
After I update the Tower theme, how do I apply it to the child?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

Hello,
Please open this link: https://codeless.co/tower/documentation/main.html#update_theme
You will see here all needed instructions to update theme. Every time you will need to update, that will always be the parent theme.
Child theme is created exactly for you to make additional changes to theme files, by creating a copy of them and adding it to the child theme. Because the update only overwrites the parent theme files, these changed files are safe.So just get the new theme update files and overwrite the existing ones in wp-content/themes/tower. Do not make any change to child theme.
Let us know if you need further help.
Best regards!
