Hi there,
I have just installed the Tower theme (with WooCommerce) to buywebtrafficfrom.me and i’ve just received an email from my hosting provider telling me that the CPU usage for this domain is excessive and they’ve paused my account whilst i look into the problem.
One of the things i’ve noticed is that there are a large number of JS and CSS files that need to be loaded on each page view. I counted over 100 of each. This is a major issue as it will cause the server to constantly request files for each page load and will create a huge number of connections.
Additionally, and associated, when i was testing the site the average page load was 14s. This seems really slow.
Are there any gotchas? Have i maybe made a mistake? Can someone suggest a plugin or a way to reduce the number of JS/CSS assets that i need to load?
Here is a screenshot of SOME of the JS files being loaded. There are a lot of duplicates and it just seems so excessive.
Argh, now it wont let me upload images: https://imgur.com/t1bOJzm
