Folie Infinite Scroll setup

  I just installed Folie and have been following the documentation but I think I have missed something along the way.
  
  I am using Photography Dark and currently it is only showing 18 images with the option to go to Page 2. When I go to Page 2, it essentially refreshes Page 1’s images.
  
  What I would like it to do is when I scroll down to the end of the page, it automatically loads the next 18 or 20 images and then repeat. If I can’t do that, then I would like to load 30 images per page and make sure when I click page 1, page 2, page 3 etc, it goes to the corresponding pages.
  
  Can you guys help me out with this?

  I have fixed this. You had only a permalink issue. Also i highly recommend to compress your images to have better performance with your website. Use this tool: https://compressnow.com/

  I am still seeing the same problem. When I click on Page 2 or Page 3, it is showing the only the content from Page 1.
  
  Can Infinite Scroll just automatically load Page 2 when you get to the end of Page 1, and then Page 3 when you scroll to the end of Page 2?
  
  I will definitely compress the images… I noticed it does load slow.

  First thing the images are more than 4Mb. This cause all this slow loading on your page. Normally the image will not be more than 100kb – 200kb.
  
  The issue with pagination is our bug. We will fix it soon and launch a new update these next days.
  
  We so sorry about this issue caused by the WordPress update. When the update will be online you will receive an email notification.

  Ah that explains it. I thought I had followed the instructions and couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t keep scrolling or go to the subsequent pages. Thanks for letting me know it is a bug. I look forward to getting the update soon.

  What is the best way to update to the newest version? Simply uploading the theme again generates the following error:
  Destination folder already exists. /hermes/bosnacweb04/bosnacweb04bg/b1915/ipw.pitchfor/public_html/anj/vso/wp-content/themes/folie/
  
  Theme installation failed.
  
  Do I remove the old theme and upload the new one and start from scratch?

  The best way is to login into your ftp and replace the folder folie with the new one.

  I had to go the FTP route. I guess when I tried to update it by uploading in the Themes section and got the hermes error midway through, whatever part Envato Market checks thought the theme was updated even though it didn’t follow through to the end. Deleted the theme through FTP, uploaded and followed the setup process again and everything seems to work.
