Hi, im building my website now using the folie theme. i can put my own images in the portfolio items on the homepage with the codeless builder but when i want to fill the next page ( when you click on an item) i can only edit it using the traditional WP editor. What am i doing wrong? Since im not a coder im stuck. Help!

Hello,
In the latest theme updates the editing of custom post types has been separated from theme customization. This means:
-From Appearance > Customize menu you can change and set up all theme options and settings (example: main color; header style; fonts styling..etc).
-But to add/remove/edit elements in a page/post/portfolio item, you have to open the them from Pages menu/ Posts / Portfolio. Click on the Codeless Builder button to access the customizer and edit out. See screenshot: https://ibb.co/R0Hxv5ZLet us know if this is what you were referring to.

ok I’ve seen the screenshot but that’s not the case. i can find my way to the portfolio pages but i can’t edit them. if i click on the coddles builder button it takes me to the portfolio page but i can’t do anything there. Then i have to find the same page in the left codeless menu Portfolio items-> my page. but there i can still do nothing. to edit the content i have to click a button (content -> open editor) but than i get only code in both tabs (visual and text) i can’t do anything there because im bad at coding. Even if you were good at it you still cannot make it i think. please help im in a sort of hurry

i did. use the ftp username without the xxxx. its only two letters.

i just did.
i couldn’t give mij ftp username because your site said it was too short…
it is only two characters. i just replied that in your mail the rest of the info is on your server now.
ok mail just bounced. than use the username without the x’s

The issue caused by the hosting provider that don’t encode the url. Anyway you access the this url to edit the portfolio entry: https://derkdumbar.nl/derkdumbar/wp-admin/customize.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fderkdumbar.nl%2Fderkdumbar%2F%3Fportfolio%3Da-safe-place%26clactive=1
as you see i have replaced the “&” before clactive=1 with “%26”. This is the solution to edit without any problem the portfolio items with codeless builder.
In the future we will launch an update to fix that issue.
