not loading sample content

  Hello, I’m trying to get my theme to look like the sample shown when I purchased:

  When I use the “one click setup” and select photography-light, it says it is successful in importing everything, but then when I go to the site it looks like this:

  There are no images and the page names, etc are all different. How do I get this set up as shown? This is the second time I’ve tried to install the theme – the first time I tried to manually add images but I couldn’t get them to open in a lightbox (they would just open as direct links to the jpgs in the same window, taking the user away from the site). I’d like to start with exactly what I was shown in the first link so I can copy how it was set up. Let me know how I can proceed.

  Just a note that in my above email, where I put the links it replaced the links with previews of the page, and behind the preview there is more text that I wrote. For some reason the link previews are covering it up.

  Please go to General options from Appearance > Customize and make sure to have selected a home page for your site. Then In Appearance > Menus, edit out current menu. Add the pages you want to use and then assign this menu as your main menu.
  If you want we can help you with the initial configurations. Just add some valid wp credentials in the extra fields in your profile data.

  It isn’t the setup of the home page or menu that isn’t working, it is the setup of the photo layout in the main content area. When I add photos, they don’t appear in the grid like they do in the demo I selected:

  Also, when I add photos, they don’t open in the lightbox, they just open as a .jpg in the browser, which takes the user away from the site. I’d like to have the demo in the link above as the starting point, but I can’t figure out how to get it set up like that. I used the one-click setup but it only seems to import some dummy data and not the actual demo as shown in the link. I’ve added admin credentials as requested, so if you can take a look it would be greatly appreciated.

  Even if I did as you toldo me, it still doesn’t work.

  ther’s still something wrong:
  
  1) I checked photogallery but as before it doesn’t work (you can check on your own)
  
  2)if I click on https://gecorenew.com/?page_id=2824&preview=true# the page is not found

  Hello,
  
  1. I see that you uploaded the photos in your photogallery page through a third party plugin. If you want to use the lightbox gallery of the demo then you should use the gallery element. I created a Photography Test page for you and you can see there the images are showing fine.
  
  2. I saved it as a draft thats why the page couldn’t be found. Now it’s ok.
