Fresh install – Appearance > Customise section not loading

  I am working locally on my mac using MAMP.
  
  I have just installed the theme, installed the Transport template.
  
  When I go to the Appearance > Customise section nothing loads? I just get a blank customise page.
  
  All plugins are installed and up-to-date.
  
  Please help.

  Hello,
  
  Please go to your wordpress menu Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays, select Static Page and select a home page for your site.
  We can give it a look and help you if you send us some screenshots of your main wp options.
