General Options no longer saving

I have been developing a site for the past month and I have saved multiple different times throughout the different sections of the theme options. About 2 days ago, when I tried to save some CSS changes under the General Options tab, it just spins and spins and spins.  I have waited hours, and nothing.

I tried disabling all the plugins – didn’t change.

I flushed the DNS cache as well as the browser cache and server cache – no change.

I tried saving in other areas (pages, posts, media) – no issues with saving.

Currently running theme version 1,3,1 and WordPress version 4.2.4

I updated to 1.3.6 with no change. I have never had visual composer installed on this site.

      Hello,

There is a JavaScript error when saving the options. It may be caused by a conflict with any plugin you have installed. Please disable them one by one and try to change something at options, to find out which plugin do the conflict.

      Best regards!

I deactivated ALL of them and tried to save, and that didn’t work. I believe I mentioned that in my first post.

Any other reasons there would be a Javascript error??

      Hello,

      Sorry for the late reply.
Please update the theme to it’s latest version 1.3.7. This issue was caused by Redux Framework and it’s fixed there.

      Best regards!

I updated the site today to version 1.3.7 and I am still not seeing any changes. I also tried to ‘rollback’ to WP version 4.2, while still using Specular version 1.3.7 – I still can’t get it to save.

Can you give me any insight?? What type of JavaScript error are you able to see – I can’t seem to find it.

      Hello,

The error mentioned before is this, screenshot. Which is now gone, but there must be something else conflicting with your theme. We have tested it multiple times and this does not happen.
Please repeat the first steps, again with the updated Redux. (disable all plugins, clear cache..) Also make sure you do not have any missing access rights.
      Let us know.

      Best regards!

I may have not made myself very clear, which I apologize for. When viewing your screenshot, I noticed that you were in the page editor, which I have never had any problems with. The only problems that I am having are from within the Specular Theme Options.

      Navigate to:

      1. Specular
      2. General Options
      3. Scroll to the bottom where the Custom CSS box is.
      4. Make any change/addition
      5. Click Save.

When you do this you will notice that the changes are never saved. The icon just spins and spins and spins.  Again, I have no problems creating/editing pages or posts – just in the theme options area.

      Hello,

I understand. Can you please perform again the first actions? (disable all plugins, clear cache..) This issue was caused by Redux Framework and it’s fixed in the latest update.

      Best regards!
