Hi,
we have two problems with formatting our header with specular theme:
1) When setting the header style to “Logo in center …” all menu entries disappear. Logo stays. Menu entries are present in other header styles. Why does this happen?
2) We want to use the additional button in the menu. However, the button has a large margin from the top and thus expands over the bar of the menu. How can we either enhance the width of the menu bar on top or reduce the margin of the button?
Cheers,

Hello,
1-I see you currently have the menu style with menu in middle and logo positioned in left side. The sticky header is on.
Did you refer to the sticky header menu? If yes, please know that it is this header default style (logo centered) that in sticky layout, only the logo remains and the menu items disappear.
To change it you will need to edit theme files. This is not recommended as it will prevent you from taking future theme updates(or you’ll have to redo the changes in every theme update) .2-Please just add this css into your Custom Css box in General Options:
.header_button { top: 20% !important; }
Let me know if you need further help.
Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
I am not sure, if I understand you correctly. Do you mean that I cannot combine the sticky header with the header style “centered”?
The css worked in general. However, the responsivness is bad. If reducing the window size far enough, the button now takes the first row and all menu items are out of the sticky menu banner. Just reduce the width of your browser windows to see that. Any solution for that?
Last question: Is it possible to make the button background green with white text?
Cheers,

Hello,
Yes, you can have sticky header and centered menu. What i am saying is that the centered menu sticky style is like you see it, only logo included.
-Please add this css for the responsive layout:@media (max-widht: 480px){ .header_button { top: 20% !important; } }
Change the value to your wish.
-Yes, add this css:
.btn-bt.default { color: #fff !important; background: #6dab3c !important; border-color: #6dab3c !important; font-size: 13px; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: 1.5px; }
Best regards!

Hi,
OK, thanks again. Most things work now.
I have changed the header style to “Centered…”. As you can see, all menu entries are gone. That is normal?
Cheers,

Hello,
Yes, as mentioned. This is the sticky layout for the centered menu. If you want to have the menu items in sticky header, change the header style to another that includes menu items in sticky form.
Best regards!
