I think I know what causing the error on my site.
I tried to rebuild it on my own. When using your post grid widget in Elementor and using the settings on my screenshot, I got this error:

Oh and this error happens on a test site, which only uses the necessary plugins. I also disabled everything and enabled it again.
And also on my productive site (which is a complete different server) I have the same problem.

Just to know, as i am now trying to rebuild it on my prod site. What did you to got the post grid widget working? On my prod site I have a site only with the post grid widget, Drake style – excactly as you did on the dev and I got the error.

So I hope you will provide a “official” update too and that the theme will make no problems with the upcoming WordPress 5.9 too. :)
