How to create a homepage slider?

  I want a slider like I see on many of the demos. How do I create one to add to my homepage? The demos didn’t work for me for it to look like version 2 or 3 from themeforest examples.

  Have you got any error during the demo import process ?
  
  It is easy to just import demos rather than creating manually. But if you want to create manually you can create revolution slider.
