Did you activate the Smooth scroll option on Theme Options (Customizer) -> General?
If no please active it if you need a more smooth scrolling effect.

Can you please also send me a website link to check these empty lines?

About the Smoothscroll it’s something we can’t do a lot. We can change some parameters on js/smoothscroll.js script but definitely it’s no more recommended to be used. It causes a bad user experience.

Why you have to disable Smooth Scroll (Scroll Hijacking) from your website ?

I have set a fixed height size on the parent container of 265px, you can change it any time on Customizer -> Custom Codes

Now it looks better. Please make a hard refresh before testing, or check it with Incognito Window

About the smooth scroll, it looks so good on me. I am on Chrome Macbook and looks awesome. What system and browser are you using?
