Hi, since the last update, the icon is not transparent anymore and it appears with a white rectangle around it.
I get the same results with ICO icon and png icon (that has alpha channel).
Any idea why this is happening?
Thank you for the great support

Thanks. Sure, please take a look what happens when I open an “incognito” window in chrome. It is simpler to see it in this window since incognito has a back background.

Take a look at header.php file
Normal favicon:
<link rel="icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" /> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
PNG/GIF favicon:
<link rel="icon" type="image/gif" href="favicon.gif" /> <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="favicon.png" />
This can help you
Thanks -
Thank you. I could not find any similar lines in header.php. The only thing I found is:
if (function_exists(‘codeless_favicon’)) { echo codeless_favicon($cl_redata[‘favicon’][‘url’]); }

Hello,
I have tried to check the favicon but seems you have entirely removed it. Please try to comment the two lines above and try to add the suggested code. In that case we can check if the issue comes from the WordPress or is an another cause.
Let us know.
Regards!

Thank you for the reply Ruco.
I have made the changes as you suggested and replaced the line with the two lined recommend for ICO. Now I get the following:
When the page starts loading, I first see the white background image:
Then after the page complete loading the icon changes to the ICO I am using:
If I drag the URL to the quick-launch bar It gives me the white background:

Hello,
I think that now is ok. The white background is caused only by some chrome browser cache.
Have a nice day.
