Image positioning and responsiveness

  Hi there,
  
  I have a problem with image positioning and responsiveness. We have a two column layout, with images positioned on the left and right. The images are positioned to stand exactly at the bottom line of the row. However, once resizing the screen, they jump up creating space between the bottom line and the image. Is possible do something about, to make the image shrink sticking to the bottom?
