It’s imperative that my portfolio page shows both videos and images in a single slider, yet this doesn’t seem to be possible. I found a third party slider that allows both images and videos. Is there a way to:
A. insert the third party slider in place of the template slider on a portfolio page
B. I started a page with the content via visual composer and used a re-direct from my portfolio page to the new page. But now the “next project” arrows aren’t there. Is there a way to copy the code for those and insert them in my new page?
Can you please be more specific? In your other topic, you said to want images+video in portfolio gallery, which is not possible. But if you want to use a slider in portfolio page, this is a distinct thing. You can add to Codeless slider,both image slides and video slides. Revolution slider and Layer slider can be used as well.

B-That’s because the arrows are feature of portfolio custom post type. You have to set up the page as portfolio item, to inherit these features. Check out file single.php and \single-portfolio.php
