1. You can change the background imafe of the slider by clickin on the row. In the menu at the left side you should click design and then scroll down where you can find background image. See screenshot: https://ibb.co/f01bPS
2. Importing the content implies importing pages and posts as well as the menu/header/overall site style. What is it that isn’t imported properly?
-The newsletter signup form requires Mailchimp plugin to be installed first. Create a form in it and then add the signup element in homepage.
The same goes for the contact form. You need to install and configure the contact Form 7 plugin first.
Both plugins are available for free.
