I am trying to install the Tower theme, E-Commerce demo as my template. I am doing the following:
Install theme – I go through all instructions, activate all plugins, etc. and get to the end. However, my chosen demo of the E-Commerce store DOES NOT get imported in.
So, when I go to import the E-Commerce demo, the following happens:
1. If I install WooCommerce, activate the Woo Commerce plugin (because this is not included within the activated plugins at the start of the theme activation) and then hit “import E-Commerce” demo, the slider DOES NOT work.
2. If I DO NOT install the WooCommerce plugin (and do not activate), then hit “import E-Commerce” demo, the slider DOES work. However, I then install the WooCommerce plugin and activate, the products have glitches when I edit the pages (new images not show up, the titles do not change, categories do not change, etc.). If I create new products, categories, etc., they do not work either and I experience various glitches.
What am I doing wrong? What steps do I need to take to install correctly. I have done this at least 10 times.

I’m looking for help with the Tower theme.
I mistakenly purchased the Specular theme and trying to get a refund.
I just installed the Tower theme on the site. I importing the demo of the E-Commerce Shop and having bugs with images, changing out products, etc.
Can you please help?

Did you change the login credentials? I can not access the dashboard anymore, see screenshot.
Did you import demo with images? You can always download the images directly from the online demo and upload them into your site.
To edit out the products, make sure to have installed Woocommerce plugin first.

The login credentials should now be working. I imported the demo with images (as well as without images). I have literally tried to upload the theme over 30 times, different ways, and each time there have been bugs that have presented each time I uploaded.
When I have WooCommerce plugin first, the slider does not work.
When I do not have WooCommerce plugin first, the slider works (sometimes) but the WooCommerce and products do not work (even when I then install the WooCommerce plugin thereafter).
There are a TON of bugs with this theme.
Can you please issue me a refund???

Hello,
Woocommerce does not have any issue with theme. It’s an important plugin that has been incorporated with theme since the very first version (almost 2 years ago). It runs smoothly on every Tower installation.
What kind of bugs did you experience while installing it? The latest wizard installation feature installs everything you need for the site, in just some “next” clicks. This too has been tested multiple times and we can assure you it does not have any problem.
What slider are you using? Where is it located? Can you be more clear on the matter?
What plugins do you have installed?

There is some sort of issue with WooCommerce and the Slider plugin that you have bundled with your theme. When the WooCommerce plugin works, the Slider does not. When the slider works, the WooCommerce plugin does not.
There are a ton of bugs, and if there are this many red flags and frustrations right now, I do not want to use your theme.
In addition, it is taking you almost 24 hours to respond to each message, which is incredibly frustrating.
Can you please issue me a refund?

There are two slider plugins included in theme package. The Revolution slider and Layer slider. Which one do you use? We can assure you none of them has any kind of incompatibility issue with Woocommerce.
We can not test this situation on your side as the credentials are invalid and you are already using another theme.
This did not ever happen on our side and so it’s impossible for us to recreate the situation without additional clues from your side (example: third party plugins you have installed). And thus test it.
Requesting refund just because you change your mind on a theme, it’s not a reason to accord a refund according to Envato Refund Policy.Please send us the link to an installation where you have this theme so we can check out what is actually causing you issues.

I am NOT requesting my refund based on changing my mind. Your theme install is having issue after issue with installation. I have found a superior theme that DOES NOT have ANY issues – in fact, one install and the theme worked. I tried over 30 TIMES to install your theme. If I’m having this many issues right away, why would I use your theme going forward? In addition, your customer service takes you over 1 day per response!!!
Based on the Refund policy, If an item doesn’t work the way it should and can’t easily be fixed you are entitled to a refund of the item. This includes situations where the item has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it if you’d known about the problem in the first place. If the item can be fixed, then the author is required to do so promptly by updating the item otherwise you are entitled to a refund of that item.I have found a much better.
I look forward to your immediate refund.
