The WPML plugin is fully compatible and has no issues with theme. Also it does not need for you to increase memory limit. It must be something else in your site conflicting with it. Do you have any other third party plugins installed? Please try to deactivate them all and try again.

I don’t see the wpml plugin in your site. Did you remove it? Please install plugin first. But do not activate it. This is a paid plugin so we can not do it for you. It has to be installed for us to check it out.
