Latest Theme Update Broke

      Hi,

       

      I updated to the latest theme update and updated visual composer/rev slider.

      Since updating, if I make a change to any page that is using visual composer, that page then breaks when updated. Now means I am unable to make any changes to the website.

      I also have had issues after the latest theme update:

      • Website load time has increased to about 40s or more per page
      • No content below the header is loading when the pages do load
      • Unable to update / change pages

      There were no other updates or installs performed at this time…

      Please advise!

      The update has completely broken my site.

      Manual update using the Visual Composer files included in the theme or from Visual Bakery?

      I have tried manual update using the files included with the theme but it made no difference.

      Please can I get some support on this a.s.a.p

      Hello,

      If you have the old version of Visual Composer, it’s very important to update it, when you update the theme.

      Please make sure you are running the theme version 1.3.6 and Visual Composer 4.6.1 (or 4.6.2). Soon will be available a new update, vs. 1.3.7.

      Hi, the theme is up to date and this issue is not solved 7 days after I have reported it, despite sending my logging details. Have you even logged into the site and looked at the problem?!

      This is not good support. The website is live and has a major issue.

      The theme was installed correctly but I can wait these long times to get the theme working. I am currently completely removing it from the server and reuploading the latest version.

      Hello,

      The theme path now is: specular/specular. It should be ‘specular’.

      I can’t even access the specular option panel from your dashboard.
      I will work on this topic now, you don’t have to wait. Let me know when you will install the latest theme version.

      I fixed the slider display. You haven’t selected the slider layout at Revolution slider settings.

      Sorry, I was still testing when you looked. I’ll stop now. but it’s still broken.

       

      The problem is when enabling my slider on https://www.brighter-connections.com/test-main-slider/

      the content underneath does not load.

      This page is a duplicate of the homepage which does load

      Did you change the hompage slider layout sizes?

      Any idea what they were before, the old slider is now too big :)

      Hello,

      Fixed it. There was a custom js code at slider settings that had an error. I remove it and the site is OK now.

      Hello,

      Yes, I’ve changed the size to full-width when I was doing the tests. I can revert back if you want, or you can change it yourself at slider settings.

      Ah that’s the JS code for the slider menu items. Hmm, I’ll log that with slider revolution. Thanks for the help

      I have changed it back but it had custom grid size, it was the grid sizes the specular documentation told me to set however the documentation has changed and no longer has the sizes specified
