After fighting with this theme all day, I’ve made some progress in getting it to look like the original theme that I want it to look like. However, when I click the individual portfolio items, they all go to a 404, even though they match the permalink to the particular portfolio item (see attached image). I don’t get it. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong here?

Also, what do I have to get the individual portfolio items to go to individual pages with descriptions like this?
