We have just launched our site and the load time is extremely slow. We have increased PHP to PHP 5.6 and the memory has been updated to 256. But there are still all kinds of things dragging the site.

After running YSlow on just the home page, we came up with the following:

There are 83 plain text components that should be sent compressed – being loaded in every page
This page has 69 external Javascript scripts. (In other words, every browser has to load 69 javascript files before it starts loading visible components)
Javascript at top/not bottom
The components are split over more than 4 domains (12 Total)
This page has 29 external stylesheets.
And there are SO many links out. Here are just a few of the JS files being loaded (almost all by the theme)

Is there anything I can do to speed up the load time?
