When I hover over the map ther is no button or anything like the other elements that let me open the page builder.
I tried installing a gmaps plug in, then added the gmap widget on a footer column and it did work (i finally have the map :), but the widget adds one more map on the contact form :(

Sorry but this is the only way to add a map. You can only add one map at a time for a row. The settings needed to show it are the API key and coordinates in Latitude/Longitude.
PS: Please keep in mind that we do not offer support on third party plugins.
