Hello – there are different margin issues affecting different pages in my site, based on the browser. I’m using a Surface Pro computer.
For Chrome and Opera, my search results are no longer showing (as set) in three columns. My header looks normal.
For Firefox and Internet Explorer, the search and minicart are pushed out of the header and down underneath the final dropdown. However, the search results are showing as normal with three columns.
I believe this is because we keep messing with the specific margins for responsive screens (since the Surface Pro is a tablet but also a laptop, the screen size is probably hitting somewhere in between the two standard settings.)
I was also experiencing an issue with my media mason grid (Visual Composer) only showing 2 columns instead of the three, but I deleted that section for the time being.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

That’s no problem – it is a tough time, and I appreciate you taking a look. I made sure to copy my most recent site over to the staging area so you could see it, but forgot to include your username when I did so. I apologize – you should be able to log in now.

I’m so sorry about that – I forgot to change your user profile to admin. You should be able to easily log in now.
My laptop/tablet is a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 – it’s a 12.3″ display.
I added the code, and didn’t help. Hopefully by being able to log in to the site now you can poke around and see what will work.
Is there any way to fix the issue that doesn’t involve a separate CSS code for every different size tablet/smartphone? The only reason I even saw this issue is because I got a new laptop – if I had been on my old laptop, I would’ve assume the template was fully responsive for all devices. It makes me concerned that there are other devices out there where the site navigation isn’t adjusting, which could lose us business if customers become frustrated.

Hello,
This is the code:
@media( max-width: 1300px ){ nav .menu > li > a{ font-size:12px !important; } }

Thank you! That worked to fix the navigation menu for Firefox and Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, for those browsers the font is now so tiny I’m concerned it is too difficult to read for elderly people. Is there any way to fix the spacing/margins of the menu without making the font so small?
Also, the other issue still isn’t resolved: If you search using Chrome or Opera, the search results show up as one long line of results, rather than 3 columns (almost as if it’s defaulting to mobile settings.)
Thanks!

Hello,
Sorry it isn’t possible because you have a lot of menu items. The only possibility is to change the menu style from normal into a hamburger menu.
I have checked the search results and seems to show up in three columns.
Regards!

Eldo – Okay, thank you for the explanation.
For the search issue: the search results are not showing up in 3 columns for me for the two browsers I mentioned: Chrome and Opera (much like the navigation menu was only malfunctioning on IE/Edge and Firefox.) Did you check the search results using those browsers, on a small screen? Would a screenshot of what I’m seeing help?

Eldo – oddly, the search was correctly showing in responsive devices even smaller than the Surface Pro 7 (eg. Amazon Kindle in landscape).
However, the good news is that the issue seems to have resolved itself with the most recent Tower theme update (2.8.8). I’ll let you know if it starts happening again. Thanks!
