Hi,
I have set my website pages up in the standard way (not as a one page site), however the homepage has multiple sections on that I would like to provide a link to in the menu.
I have been playing with anchors, div ID’s, custom menu links etc… but can’t get anything to work, can you please help? This is my first wordpress site so I would appreciate if you could explain in detail.
Thanks,
Karl

Hello,
You have to set up the custom links just as you would do for the One Page. Go to Row Settings and set an id to it (screenshot). Add this id to the custom menu link (screenshot).
Please read more detailed information here.Best regards!

Thanks again for the detailed response!
Unfortunately I am still having trouble, The link works great however it only links me to the page rather than the section. This also means that when I am on the homepage (which the section is within) the link does nothing because it is already on that page. However from all other pages the link works but it does only link back to the top of the home page.
I have tried the section id in both my top and bottom rows (as I have several) but it still always links to top of the page
Thanks

Hi Mihaila,
I had the same problem. Just remove the “#” from the extra class name.

Thanks with this hint I got the section link working, too.
There still is one issue because the sticky nav now overlaps the content of the section. Does Tower have the ability to correct this overlap?

I created a screenshot for the overlap issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/z3rpzcnc89dxwws/2016-01-14%2010_27_25-Greenshot%20image%20editor.png?dl=0

Hi,
thanks for your help, clicking an anchor-link in the navigation definitly leads to smooth scrolling. However if I click an anchor-link in the content, the smooth scrolling isn’t working.
You can test it: i linked the “Drag & Drop”-Link to “sec4”. If I click that link it directly jumps to #sec4 rather than smoothly scrolling to.
So is this not a supported feature? How could I fix this?
Greetings

Hello,
@CB1000RBiker,
Can you please explain better? If you are using one page, the smooth scroll effect option in General Options, should do the job. What is not working for you?
Let us know.
PS: Please open a new ticket for your request as this is getting overloaded and will soon loose it’s starting direction.Best regards!
