  hi,
  
  I had created 2 Menus / pages, the link opens with the new page but i need the default home page. there is no option to modify the default home page path in URL. kindly help

  Sorry but i don’t understand your question. Can you be more clear? The site can only have one default home page.
  You can change pages in menu in Appearance > Menus or by theme’s customizer in Menus.

  when you click on engineering product / general product menu, it should not do any action. eitherthe link should point to Home page / URL should be #.
  
  but there is no option to modify the URL. kindly advise

  I understand, that’s because you have added the page “engineering product / general product” are pages and will link to those pages.
  To get what you need, go to Menus, add new item and set it as custom link instead. See screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/6ma94nj85/
